Intelligent Reflection Enabling Technologies for Integrated and Green Internet-of-Everything Beyond 5G: Communication, Sensing, and Security

Internet-of-Everything (IoE) has gradually been recognized as an integral part of future wireless networks. In IoE, there can be ultra-massive number smart devices various types to served, imposing multi-dimensional requirements on communication, sensing, and security. this article, we provide a tutorial overview the promising intelligent reflection communication (IRC) technologies, including reconfigurable surface (RIS) ambient backscatter (AmBC), support IoE applications beyond fifth-generation (5G) network. Specifically, elaborate benefits IRC-assisted in context space-air-ground integrated communications green communications, which are regarded key features supporting application from society industries. Furthermore, envision that sensing mutually benefit each other articulate multiple ways enhancing security by IRC. Numerical results help illustrate importance IRC unfavorable secrecy environments. Finally, open research issues challenges about presented.
